Switch Witch – Halloween’s Candy Snatcher

LinkedIn’s Security Attack

In a very interesting and sneaky way of “helping” it’s users – LinkedIn’s mobile app has configured their “assistance” with your emails (showing you background on who you’re emailing) by filtering ALL emails you send through their own servers.  This means every email you send is able to be filtered and “read” for key data prior to shipping off to your intended recipient.

There is more than one reason why this is an issue, especially for those attaching the program to their work email addresses.  But I’ll let the article I read about it dive into those aspects:
